Arctic Fox's Phantom Green after five weeks. It's a really pretty fade -- just kind of a spring green at this stage. Other than using sulfate-free shampoo and paraben-free conditioner (which I did before I started this hair color journey), I haven't done anything special this time around. It's too cold to wash my hair in cold water! I do wash my hair only about 3 times a week (plus one co-wash). So this is five weeks, ~20 shampoos in. Changing it tomorrow only because my roots have gotten bad.

I'm sick with the flu so I look terrible but I wanted to show the two-week fade on Arctic Fox Phantom Green (over faded Poseidon). This is after seven shampoos in warm water with sulfate-free shampoo and paraben-free conditioner/styling products.

Phantom Green, not diluted, over faded Poseidon. I left on for five hours under a plastic cap and then ran my hair dryer over it before rinsing. This is in my bathroom with "daylight" bulbs. In artificial light, it looks slightly more teal. Some run-off in shower and some bleeding onto towel and pillowcase but none on my skin.

Arctic Fox's Poseidon after three weeks. Holding on very well, honestly. It faded the first week but has been roughly this color for two weeks. I fully expected it to hold onto this very pretty color for another few weeks. I am going to re-dye tonight so I washed with a clarifying shampoo so it's *slightly* faded from where it was. But my normal routine is to wash every other day in lukewarm water with a sulfate-free shampoo and then condition and style with paraben-free products. (Haha, I love how everyone else here is looking gorgeous and I'm all "I'm exhausted and wearing no makeup but hey, here's my hair color and that's the important part, right? :)

Two shampoos and one co-wash into Arctic Fox Poseidon. I wash in lukewarm water every other day using sulfate-free shampoos and paraben-free conditioners. This was on a fresh bleach job with 3 parts dye to one part conditioner.

Poseidon over a fresh bleach job, mixed about 3 parts dye with one part white conditioner. I like it, not sure I'm in love with it. It bled a little on my (white) towel but there's no transfer on my skin, my tub is still white, and my pillowcase was still white this morning. (Yeah, I know, white pillowcase, white towel. I was not thinking!) So, thankfully, it does not look like I slaughtered a Smurf in my house today! This is after one co-wash. We'll see how it looks in a few weeks. I'll update with info on the fade.

After 7 weeks. Washing every other day in lukewarm water with sulfate-free shampoos and using sulfate and paraben-free conditioners and styling products. Mainly still lilac, a little more pink on top, a little more silvery-pink where I'm gray. This product really works well for me.

Four weeks into Arctic Fox's "Purple Rain." This is what it looks like now. While it has faded, it's still really purple! I'm very impressed. And it's still very pretty! I'm definitely getting my mileage out of this hair color! Notes: 1/2 conditioner, 1/2 dye over fresh bleach job. I wash my hair in lukewarm water every other day using sulfate-free shampoos. Usually there's one additional co-wash a week (so, three shampoos, one co-wash a week). I do avoid the sun. (Not sure why it's saying "Neon Moon." Purple Rain is selected.)

Arctic Fox "Purple Rain" after one "normal" week for me, which included two co-washes and two shampoo washes. Pretty pleased with how well it's holding up!

Two weeks into Arctic Fox's Purple Rain, and one of those weeks was hell on hair -- swimming every day plus showers every other, lots of sun! I'm impressed with how pretty it still is. It faded fairly quickly during the swimming/sun week but has since stabilized on a lovely lavender. **Update** Second time around, it took six weeks to get to this color. I get a lot of compliments on it!

Two shampoos into Arctic Fox's Purple Rain (mixed 1:2 with conditioner). Loving this color on me! Faded more quickly this time but much more slowly when I used less conditioner.
