Small experimentation with Superdrug hair chalk (in lilac) over the pink. I quite like it, though the hub is not entirely convinced. It doesn't brush out like they say! Let's see if it will wash out later. Also used got2Bglued to make hair behave (day 3 since washing...say no more)

I faded the pillarbox red to pale pink/blond earlier in the week before adding most of a pot of the directions pastel pink after getting my hair cut yesterday. She told me there wasn't enough root growth to bleach the roots without serious overlap so I will save that for a couple of weeks. It came out a little patchy at the back (and a little bit at the top) so I'm going to give it a second go after I've bought another pot! I only left it on for half an hour, though (the joy of kids!) so next time I might leave it on considerably longer... Love the colour though! Just what I was aiming for - light coral pink.

'Scuse the finger over the lens! This is Schwarzkopf xxl pillarbox red. Had this colour since mid November 2014 (when I was new to unnatural hair colour) and I'm loving it. But considering gradually moving to a warm pink. Maybe. If I ever get bored of the red. Which may never happen, I love it so much..

Once I'd posted a picture of my silver hair last night I thought it might be a good idea to put a photo of how my hair looked naturally before I started playing around with fun colours. It used to look like this, often with blonde highlights. Can't imagine going back to this any time soon!
