livingdeadgirlnicole's Multi-coloured hair

This is what happens when you can't decide which color to do next. I wanted to stick to following the color wheel since the last color I did was a raspberry magenta like violet shade. I knew I would need to bleach it to touch up the roots and give myself a nice base for the new color. However I didn't want to have to bleach it too much. So I was debating between putting purple or red over the pieces and decided hell why not just do both. I was on a budget this time around so I settled for Splat. I had Luscious Raspberries (red) already in my closet from a while back and needed bleach for the touch up so I bought their Lusty Lavender (purple) kit because I knew I liked their purple in the past. It never seems to come out too dark and always seems to be pretty vibrant so I knew I couldn't go wrong with it. Bleached out the roots and old color. I also bleached a few extra of the previously dyed black pieces to add more color this time. I did all the areas in my bangs and partially on the sides with the purple. I then did all the rest of the pieces on the sides and underneath in red. I left my faded black hair alone. The roots are coming in but they are a dark enough brown that it's not noticeable. The black is starting to fade as well. So this gives me more options if I don't dye another layer of black on top. With only one layer of black dye I can still easily pull that color out later if I want to with less damage. So just letting it be for now. I have been referring to this as my "poor unfortunate souls" color combo because every time I look in the mirror I think of the Little Mermaid. Mainly the scene when Ariel first meets Ursula.
