This is what my hair color from the previous photo faded to after 3 weeks. I decided not to touch it up (normally I touch it up with Arctic Fox half way before I need a full root touch up) but this time decided to just enjoy the beautiful color transition as it faded!

Freshly dyed hair! This is what my hair looks like now after I freshly dye it. This time I used what I had in my cabinet to achieve a similar color as last time so I could touch up my roots. I used 4VV African Amethyst by ISO with a little bit of blue intensifier only on my roots, processed and rinsed. I then mixed Arctic Fox Purple Rain with a bit of Poseidon and put that on top of my whole head roots to ends. This was the end result!

This is what my hair looks like from the previous 2 photos after I let it completely fade and only touched it up with Arctic Fox Purple Rain. I really love this brighter plum shade the color turns into. It allows me to keep it this way for a little while before I have to actually dye my roots and start all over again.

This photo reflects my hair color in natural lighting (in a car outdoors) after 2 weeks of fading from my previous photo/dye job. I really loved the transition it went through. In the next photo you will see the brighter plum shade it eventually fades into which I keep for a short period of time before I start all over with my roots etc.

So as you can see from my photo before this one my roots were grown out to about mid bang with my natural hair color which I guess is about a level 4. My ends were faded Revlon's Colorsilk Buttercream in Brown Black #30 which were atleast a level 3 or darker. My goal was to achieve a eggplant darkest brown shade with a purple hue. To achieve this I used Ion Cream Lightner to lighten up my ends that had all that dye on them. I wanted my ends to be somewhat close to my root color but a tad lighter because I wanted darker roots faded to lighter ends. After I rinsed all that out I mixed Age Beautiful 4V with 3B and applied to my whole head. It came out pretty dark so I let it sit a few days and washed it a couple of times and then covered it all in Arctic Fox Purple Rain. This was the end result! I LOVE it. However its a lot of mixing of colors and things to upkeep but faded beautifully.

Kept my hair the same color Revlon's Colorsilk Buttercream in Brown Black #30 until early February. Then quarantine hit and we were not leaving the house so I just let it all fade and my roots actually grow out. Its been a LONG time since I did this. It was actually to a point where I was debating letting what bit of grey I have actually grow out with my natural color for good but as you will see from my next photo that did not happen. If you look closely the natural color goes to about half of my bang area and then the rest is faded dye. I am posting this one as it shows where my hair was before I decided to finally dye it again. This time period was a great time though for me to get it healthy again!

Well my hair has had enough of all the bleaching and purples all spring and summer long so it's once again time to give it a break. This time I chose to go with Revlon's Colorsilk Buttercream in Brown Black #30 to cover over everything and go back to one color again. I am please with the results and my hair feels remarkable after using this dye and the conditioner that came with it reaIlly helped as well. It also came with a hair mask for me to use on my hair after 2 weeks. Not so crazy color wise but still fun and most of all...no more breakage.

After dying my hair with Splat Lusty Lavender my hair had faded so I touched it up with Arctic Fox Purple Rain (see previous timeline photos for results). This photo shows the beautiful shade of fuschia it faded to after alot of washes. I have no need to touch it up other than my roots so I am going to leave it this way until I have to because fuschia is actually my favorite color and it's so hard to achieve it without going too pink.

Fresh touch up of the pieces around my face with Arctic Fox Purple Rain. This was originally dyed with Splat Lusty Lavender (as seen in previous timeline photo) and had faded. I have been touching it up with Arctic Fox since the color also conditions the hair. I also love that in the sunlight it has a fuschia orchid like glow to it. It also fades to become very similar to Arctic Fox Violet Dream so it's like your getting 2 colors in one.

So I have been dying my hair black again for months. With it being Spring (even though it still doesn't feel like it) I needed a little color in my life and decided to bleach out my bangs and the main pieces of hair that frame my face. I figure if I decide to stop dying my hair black and let my dark brown grow in the brightness around my face will draw people's attention away from any outgrowth. Short on money I decided to pick up the Splat Lusty Lavendar kit that comes with the bleach at CVS. I have used this in the past so I knew partially what to expect but was not sure how much lift I would actual get the first time around since I have been dying my hair black now for a while. I was pleasantly suprised how much lift I actually got from the bleach. It lifted to to a dark yellow with some random light orangy blonde pieces in the mix. The Lusty Lavendar color results were a bit uneven due to this but that was expected. I have some pieces that are a little darker then others and some pieces that are a little more on the fushia side. But I am still happy with it and think it came out better then I had expected. This photo was taken 2 days after I dyed it. I did not style it cause I wanted to give my hair a little break from all the processing. I have since touched it up with Arctic Fox Purple Rain which seems to have distributed color a bit more evenly then the Lusty Lavendar and has way less bleed out so I may stick with that for future touch ups.

Back to black. Been dying my hair Revlon Colorsilk Black #11 again for months now. Taking a break from crazy colors for a while to give my hair and budget a break. This is my go to black. Its affordable from the store and it fades nicely.

Missed the orange so I added one big streak of it to my hair. This is Pravana Vivids Orange and Revlon Colorsilk Black #11. I keep calling it my Pumpkin Queen Hair.
