I've been tinkering around trying to figure out what works and what doesn't to make this color. I had it pictured in my mind but went through some trial and error getting it just right. I faded out nearly all of the dye that was still in my hair, just from the sun and doing overnight oil soaks, so it was all pale yellow, white and still a little bit of Atomic Pink clinging on for dear life in the back underneath. I used about 3-4oz of Cure Care Hair and Skin Conditioner, a couple drops of Virgin Rose and a couple drops of Nirvel ArtX Nutre Color in Grey and I love it! Exactly what I've been trying to achieve!

Did a few shampoo fading treatments (heated, under a cap), then did a bleach powder + shampoo + olive/coconut oils treatment and this is what I'm left with! It is literally the exact same shades I use in my eyeshadow palette everyday lol. You can really tell how much of a brown base the Nirvel Grey has here. I am actually really liking this on me, surprisingly! I may keep it for a bit before going back pink

I spent all afternoon toning what I had last so I had a mid to light really grey looking blonde with random muted strands of pastel, all colors of the rainbow lol. I then used Nirvel ArtX Nutre Color in Grey, diluted about 1/3 with conditioner and this is what I got! I really love this shade but I really don't like the purple streaks coming through STILL from that Atomic Pink from October, so I currently have it on my head again, almost neat so it's darker and those purple streaks won't be so prominent. Also, those chunks I had to cut in front of my ears were driving me insane and just looked ridiculous so I caved and took my fringe up a lot to help blend it in more, and my layers too so it looks more shaggy/choppy

I put a violet toner over what I had in my last photos but the line between my roots and the rest of my hair still seemed too severe and I didn't want to darken them anymore. So I just did streaks along my parting using various combinations of the colors listed. I applied it to conditioned, wet hair, and only left it on for about a half hour - the opposite of what I normally do because I want it to fade faster.

Here you can see how pretty the Pravana Green is when it's diluted - those turquoise looking bits are it diluted over pale yellow hair where my toner didn't take

I seriously love this so much! A year ago with dyed black hair I never would have thought I would have pastel Lisa Frank unicorn cotton candy hair!

This shows the top part of it a little better. It's like I have pale yellow>pastel pink>light neon pink>pastel pink>baby peachy pink

This was after doing the bleach powder + shampoo method to fade my color. It went from a tiny bit lighter than my last photo, to this! Very happy! The Pravana Violet looks completely gone, as well as any other pinks I used. On the root area in places it looks like there may be a bit of Virgin Rose clinging on, but it's mostly just the Atomic Pink I'm left with

This photo shows the lightness/gradient a little bit more than the other photo, but I like the other photo better + couldn't decide which to put up lol. You can see how light the pink is over the ends really well here. Also, you can see the shorter chunks a lot better in this photo, the areas hanging just in front of the ears, you can see it on the other side too. I was going to even them out or just make my sidecuts bigger + chop them off...If more damage shows up on them then I probably will just make my sidecuts bigger, but until then, if it happens, I'm just going to leave them this way.

These are the results from using the bleach powder + hot water paste technique on hair that was dyed a few weeks ago + I hadn't done any fading treatments first. I also still had some coconut oil in my hair too. The purple is my normal color, and that bright pink is what's left from doing the paste on it. It stripped out everything except for that Atomic Pink from last October. I'd say to treat it as if it were a low vol bleach bath, my hair doesn't feel damaged at all, just dry. I'm pretty impressed with it though, especially considering I didn't fade it before doing this.
