This one shows the front view, I colored all of my hair except the bangs with very diluted Nirvel Artx Grey dye. The front, basically the bangs, are done in Pravana silver.
look at you all dolled up! cute:)
it's so perfect on you! *O*
Aww thanks @denis & @Lepre! :D
That is a sexy look *_*w/the eyeliner fab! I haven't seen the artX yet. Hmm.
how did you get this white silver look?!!?! i tried but failed miserably
Thank you so much @g474xy_g1r7! Also I got the dye on eBay. :)
Thank you @meow666, I got this look by lightening my hair, through fading treatments and bleach bathing, to an 'inside of a banana peel' color. Then I used the Nirvel grey dye, very diluted with conditioner (like a teaspoon of dye to an ounce or two of conditioner). When I rinsed it out I toned my bangs white, which I hadn't dyed yet, with a purple toning conditioner to get them to white. Then after rinsing the toning conditioner out and letting my hair dry, I dyed the bangs with Pravana's silver. I hope that helps :D
how long did you leave everything in for?
I left the dye in for about an hour for each color (grey and silver), and I left the toner in for a matter of minutes :D
i left the pravana silver for about 45 minutes and my hair turned more gun metal uneven silver instead of white like yours =[ will clarifying shampoo get out the pravana in my hair or fade it out to white like yours?
Oooh, everything about this is gorgeous, you platinum/ silver bombshell, you! :D
Wow! You look striking with silver hair! Reminds me of Storm from X-Men. :)
Thank you gals @Piscine & @MissTara! Btw, I loooove Storm!
@meow666, it looks like your question got answered on the forums, but yes, if you want to fade out a color because it is too dark, head and shoulders works wonderfully for that. It will only fade to white if it was a very light base, like either an 'inside of a banana peel' color, or white. When doing such light colors, the evenness of your base is key because any slight color change will show the unevenness. It sounds like you just left the dye in either too long for the goal color, or your mix of Pravana silver was a little too pigmented for the amount of time it was left in. Pastels and other light colors are tricky and it can take some trial and error to get right. Good luck!
thank you thank you i was just freaking out bc of work and school interviews I'm gonna get to scrubbing the seccond i get home
Awesome silver and white! It's so perfectly even.
