For best results Stargazer should be applied to freshly washed, pre-lightened, damp hair. For the brightest results, or when using pastel colours you will get best results on very pale blond hair.

For even results apply using a tint brush. Avoid contact with scalp as staining my occur. A layer of petroleum jelly around the hairline and ears will help prevent staining to the skin. If stains do occur, most can be removed with soap and water or rubbing alcohol.
Each pack comes complete with plastic gloves. Wear these to avoid staining your hands.

Once applied comb the hair until it emulsifies. This helps the hair absorb the dye and ensures a more even coverage.

  • Precautions

Always read the manufacturers instructions and check the ingredients for anything you may be allergic to.

Always do a strand and sensitivity test before applying this hair dye.

Colours will stain natural fibres, textiles, carpets, walls & surfaces as well as any other porous surface so ensure your work area is covered before applying the dye.

Colour may rub off damp hair onto surfaces so we advise using an old pillowcase for the first few washes.

Temporary staining may occur to skin but this can be removed with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Temporary staining to baths, showers and sinks can be removed with household bleach (always check manufacturers instructions before use).

Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Reviews of Stargazer Royal Blue

  • I tested this colour on a section of my hair, and it turned out turquoise. After a day, it faded to a green-ish grey and finally disappeared. I don't know what it would be like on a fully dyed head, but I wasnt very happy with it.
  • update :3 even though I dyed this over a dark purple, it came out as a bright lovely colour like in the imagine seen above. I don't know why this happened last time, but this time it really worked well!
  • First I bleached my naturally black hair using Stargazer's bleaching kit. I done this in 2 stages as I didn't want to stress my hair too much. Once I had made my desired chunks in my fringe white/platnum blonde, I then applied the Royal Blue dye from Stargazer. At first it went a faded green colour with ginger streaks, however I did then dye over it again but this time leaving in the dye for 1hour instead of 30minutes. My hair then came out this colour! I am totally in love with it and honestly recommened the colour! It's gorgeous in natural light as it's very bright!
  • Just used this on my undercut (which was bleached pale yellow) for a rainbow and it hasn't taken at all! Never had such a rubbish result. REALLY disappointed.
  • Color is great i love it sow much i look like character from anime :D
  • I brought this just over a month ago, needed to find a bright vibrant ble. My hair has been well looked after but has a lot of dye, snaps a bit - the joys of strippingnred out to go lightish blonde. Anyway that's mynhairs background, and this product turned out amazing, grabbed to all my different shades of blonde! And is lasting pretty well. I probably only shampoo the blur parts every 3rd or 4th wash unless I have product in it,, so only conditioning and using proteins! Sitting at about my 10th wash with no problem!
  • I had red hair before applying this. So I bleached it to get some red off but didn't go overboard with it since my hair is thin. Put the Royal Blue on and once I was done I started laughing: my roots and the hair close to my neck were cyan, some parts were an unidentified colour between purple and green, the rest was some boring blue that you could only discern it if I put my hair up. One week after that I re-bleached (lightly) and used blue mayhem by sfx and got rid of that hilarious cacophony of colours.
  • I was initially concerned when I began prepping for application, because this dye looks very violet in the bottle and I was sure I had ordered royal blue! As soon as I rinsed it out I was very impressed with the result. Shiny, rich blue without any green tones! Couldn't be happier. (applied to pre-lightened hair, approx. 1 hour)
