For best results Stargazer should be applied to freshly washed, pre-lightened, damp hair. For the brightest results, or when using pastel colours you will get best results on very pale blond hair.

For even results apply using a tint brush. Avoid contact with scalp as staining my occur. A layer of petroleum jelly around the hairline and ears will help prevent staining to the skin. If stains do occur, most can be removed with soap and water or rubbing alcohol.
Each pack comes complete with plastic gloves. Wear these to avoid staining your hands.

Once applied comb the hair until it emulsifies. This helps the hair absorb the dye and ensures a more even coverage.

  • Precautions

Always read the manufacturers instructions and check the ingredients for anything you may be allergic to.

Always do a strand and sensitivity test before applying this hair dye.

Colours will stain natural fibres, textiles, carpets, walls & surfaces as well as any other porous surface so ensure your work area is covered before applying the dye.

Colour may rub off damp hair onto surfaces so we advise using an old pillowcase for the first few washes.

Temporary staining may occur to skin but this can be removed with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Temporary staining to baths, showers and sinks can be removed with household bleach (always check manufacturers instructions before use).

Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Reviews of Stargazer Magenta

  • My mother uses this colour on her fringe. It transfers alot onto the skin (like if you were to sleep on your arm, you'd wake up in the morning with pink dye on it.) On her hair, which was bleached to a whiteish yellow, it was a pink with alot of purple tones in. It lasts about a week or two i think and fades to an orangey pink colour.
  • im having this colour for like... almost 2 weeks now and its almost completely faded :( ( srry if not very good english :P ) and it started a little more purple then i wanted it too.... but o well... it was nice to try out a colour but next time im getting a dyer that stays longer :(
  • started out very dark purple looking when put on over my very faded red hair but after a few washes looked like more of a true magenta shade, lasted very well compared to other colours ive tried and it was nice for a change
  • This colour takes well, even on unbleached hair. Only downside is that it fades very quickly and leaves red/orange tones.
  • its a very very pretty colour i wear it on my profile pic ^^ it was a dark purple at first and became a pretty pink after a few washes. it was very glowing but faded after a week :(
  • This shade gave me a nice pink tint on unbleached brunette hair, and a really vibrant, long-lasting dark pink on bleached orange hair. It bleeds a fair bit though and stains everything and anything almost instantly. Overall, a great colour.
  • This shade has strong red undertones, and is gorgeous to mix and create warm purples. On its own, if your hair is more on the yellow/darker side it will create a beautiful berry fuchsia/Tyrian purple color, rather than a pink. Staying power is not bad, but it leaves a particularly stubborn pink cast in my bathtub and sink.
