Reviews of Manic Panic Voodoo Blue

  • i loved mine! no staining, easy to maintain and if the hair is bleached yellow enough it fades to mint green. covers orange/yellow hair but fades to a muddy green. Report Comment
  • My experience with this hair dye isn't very good. To get it stay i had to dye it 2 times, the 2nd time i put tin foil and let it stay on for 2 hours. And still, the color only lasted 2 washes. When it WAS in it was a pretty shade of dark ashy blue. When it was time to wash it, i washed it in the coldest water i could stand. The color that was still in my bangs was a very mucky green color, good thing it was only 2 strands of hair. I didn't bleach my hair but i had some light strands. I expected for those light strands to be dyed the correct color but they weren't. Everyone's hair is different so if you want to experiment anyways then do so. I hope it works better out for you then it did for me :) Report Comment
  • p.s i left mine overnight, and my hair was pretty damaged from over a years worth of brown and red hair dye, and then full head bleached to yellow/orange. ^ i expect it didnt work for you because your hair wasnt bleached. Report Comment
  • I love my Voodoo Blue hair, but I find it difficult for it to take to regrown roots. I don't want to bleach them. Any suggestions? Should I mix the VB with another darker dye so it takes to my roots? Report Comment
  • Gorgeous wonderful teal color. Slaughters atomic turquoise in my opinion, in both staying power and ability to be used over darker bases. My favorite manic panic multi color look was this striped with hot hot pink and ultra violet. Report Comment
  • Used over like a Cadbury purple makes hair a gorgeous Royal/navy blue!!! Report Comment
  • Will 118ml of hair dye be enough for waist length hair? Report Comment
  • No Tanya, best get 2 tubs, 3 if your hair is thick I used to have waist length and to make sure you don't miss any you'll need 2 Report Comment
  • this color is very, very vibrant. When undiluted, it has a very phenomenal staying power, even though it stains my towel and everything I loved. If your hair is yellow, like dark yellow to medium yellow, this will turn into menthol green. Report Comment
