Manic Panic Rock 'n' Roll Red

A great alternative to Pillarbox, Rock ‘n’ Roll Red is extremely bright. It’s great as a standalone colour applied to bleached hair, or as a refresher dyed over permanent red.

Reviews of Manic Panic Rock 'n' Roll Red

  • This was a wonderful red. It was very bright, a true red, and did not have those pink or burgundy tones that most reds do. I was overall very happy with it. The brightness lasted about two weeks for me, which is fine because I like to change my hair color often.
  • A nice, basic red, not insanely bright or neon, but still unnatural. Fades to a light red that's kind of pink, but much more red than pink. Starts to fade after a few weeks.
  • This red was extremely bright and had a bit of an orange tone. I like the result I got from this mixed with "Vampire Red".
  • Very vivid red! I left it on overnight on very light blonde hair then rinsed it in the morning with cold water to great results. It is not super long lasting but gives good vibrant colors without damaging your hair.
  • I guess it depends on your base but this color was a Crayola red on my white blonde bleached out hair. It has lasted long due to my hair being bleached. It fades to a hot cotton candy pink on a blonde white base. Removing the color for work was quite a task. Bottom few inches of my hair really held onto the pink faded out color. Vitamin C washes pulled more color out than bleach. In the more yellow strips of my white hair it faded to a peachy pink. Fade time with multiple vitamin C washes and bleach washes = 3 weeks. Tip: The vitamin C wash pulled MORE color out if I did a bleach cap wash first.
  • This is my absolute favorite red by Manic Panic. It had really good staying power, and it stayed a pretty good, true red for a few weeks before it went a little pink.
