A wonderful, multitonal, soft, pinkish purple from Manic Panic, Mystic Heather is bright and vibrant yet also soft. It’s somewhere between pink and purple and tends to look pinker on hair with more warm tones, but its appearance varies slightly from indoor, artificial lighting to natural light outdoors.

Mystic Heather can be diluted down with Manic Mixer/Pasteliser or Manic Panic Virgin Snow to create beautiful, barely-there colour, or dilute it a little more to formulate a very pretty toner for a flattering soft white shade. You’ll need very pale blonde hair to try this technique.

Usage

For best results apply to hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blonde. Do not mix with peroxide.

Shampoo hair using a deep cleansing shampoo. Apply to freshly washed, dry hair. Apply evenly using a tint brush and comb through until frothy. Cover your hair with a plastic cap and leave for 30 minutes. You can apply heat to intensify the process.

Rinse with cold water, away from your face.

Reviews of Manic Panic Mystic Heather

  • Used as part of a rainbow mix (Pravana - Red, Manic Panic - Wildfire, Manic Panic - Electric Banana, Manic Panic - Electric Lizard, Manic Panic - Atomic Turquoise). I put Mystic Heather on top of hair that was bleached to a pale yellow. The purple was just enough to cancel out the yellow and that was it. I was left with a dirty puddle grey color. This color should probably only be used on white hair or maybe as a toner. If you want a vivid purple, go with something darker or Pravana - Violet. Report Comment
