Reviews of Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink

  • One of the best pinks ever invented.
  • Brightest, longest lasting, hot hot pink! It's by far the best color by MP. I HIGHLY recommend it for those people who really want that intense hot pink color! :)
  • to true... BEST PINK EVER! lasts many washes!! i <3 longtyme.
  • very bright, and covers even slightly darker blondes
  • Nice, bright shade of pink, but lasted only as long as a week on my hair.
  • I was hoping it would be a little brighter, but this color was a very deep magenta shade. It was still nice and probably the best pink I've tried. It faded unevenly; the top two-thirds of my hair faded to the bright pink I originally wanted and my ends faded to a washed-out unpleasant shade of pink. Lasted about two weeks.
  • fades really fast.
  • I love this colour so much, and had it for a while, it goes on extremely dark, but best when its washed a few times and faded. Overall if does fade faster then many, but its worth fixing regularly for the colour
  • My favorite pink by far
  • The color itself is AMAZING, but it faded quicker than my usual brand (Punky) did. Especially at the ends, I had blonde tips after about a week!
  • i dont like the color much on bleached hair, but i love it on unbleached, it comes out a darker, but still just as vibrant hot pink. I put it pn light brown hair and i loved it to death <3
  • unbeatable!!!!!! beautiful cyclamen shade!
  • a great pink! it is very vibrant and long lasting in my experience. i recommend it to anyone!
  • It covers everything EVENLY (my personal saving grace) It's such a violent shade of pink <3 I love it. Doesn't fade as gracefully as I would have liked it to, it leaves my hair a horrid shade of copper. The fading doesn't surprise me much though, since all MP colors fade if you don't take care of them.
  • I love it! I always thought you had to bleach your hair to death to get this color pink.
  • Its so bright!! <3
  • Took on a kinda purple-ish muted magenta hue when used atop my daughter's light brown virgin hair. It looks very cool!! If you have light brown hair and want to try this shade do a strand test; it does show up indeed. We had her streak in a foil for about 2 hrs and my husband even accidentally shampooed that night and it still took!
  • First time I've properly used pink ( mixed Cotton Candy Pink with Electric Lava, try it! ) and I love it. So vivid and strong, I'd say almost a red pink when it first goes on.
  • I've used this since on myself mixed with conditioner to pastelize over light blond, and it's very easy to go too far with the amount of dye. I stick to cotton candy pink, diluted as well. I get a more consistent pastel like this.
  • SUPER pink, very reddish toned however. Total pain to wash this out of your hair over time, you're better off picking a colour that looks good over pink when you want to change.
  • My absolute favorite color! The staying power is magnificent, and even after it faded, (nearly 3 months!) it was still a beautiful shade of cotton candy pink. It covered my hair very well, despite the unevenness and varying shades in my bleach job. Looks fantastic paired with rich purples, and is probably going to end up being my "go-to" shade when I get bored of anything else. 10/10.
  • Absolutely my favorite pink. Just wish it would last longer. I havent found this exact shade in the other dyes I've tried. This pink absolutely pops though. Its gorgeous, bright, and looks so good next to atomic turquoise or voodoo blue.
  • LOooove this pink, and pink and orange combos are my fav! from reviews Ive read all over the internet seems to be a favorite hot pink for many. :) working my way back to pink :)
  • This color seems to have some incredible staying power. I am two months in and it is still in my hair! It started out a shockingly vibrant warm red-pink and slowly faded to a really nice coral and finally to a rose gold. I think now that it has faded I get even more compliments. I did not tone my hair after bleaching so that helped in determining the faded color. I bleached to a brassy golden blonde, about a level 8-9 though some parts were a 10. This will definitely be my go to pink from now on! As a side note, I actually used this color about ten years ago on my medium-dark brown hair and it did show up, particularly on the lighter pieces. However, it seemed to take on a much more purple tone.
  • This will show up on unbleached hair if it’s light to medium brown, it’ll come out magenta. On darker hair it fades well but when I used it on lighter unbleached hair it stained for a really, REALLY long time. Not super bright but you could still see a tinge of magenta in the light hair for months. When I’ve used it on myself after full bleaching and undiluted it doesn’t come out bright pink unless you get rid of the yellow tones in your hair, at least it didn’t on me, it looked more magenta. It also faded super fast and looked somewhat dingy too quickly for my liking so I covered over it with a blue to turn my hair purple.
  • Update: I used this to cover over a green I was struggling to get out of my daughters hair. I put it everywhere, over the previously bleached parts and her natural hair which is a very dark brown and amazingly the hot pink used undiluted covered her natural colour turned it a pretty dark auburn which we were surprised by since I’d assumed her natural hair was too dark for colour to show up on.
