Reviews of Manic Panic Enchanted Forest

  • It makes me sad this hasn't gotten any reviews yet! Anyway, the first time I used this, it didn't turn out the way I wanted to. Way too bright of a turqoise- really, you'd think I used Atomic Turqoise! Nonetheless, it actually stayed in for a while before I had to touch up. The second time, however, I left it in for about two and a half hours, blowdried it over the wrap I put on my head, rinsed it with a vinegar/water mix, and then rinsed it completely. It didn't last as long- but it was really just the roots, and stray strands that were going back to my bleached color. It probably lasted about a week and a half before I had to touch up/redye this time around...Gorgeous shade, but it doesn't last as long as I'd like. Oh well, c'est la vie!
  • This shade lasted months for me.Then again, I leave the dye in for hours. Started with a deep Teal color then faded to a beautiful lighter blue-green color.
  • This is an excellent and very rich blue-green color. I did not bleach my hair past a pale yellow, so it fades to a nice teal/aqua color that ends up looking quite green. People really notice this color, and it looks great blended into a darker blue dye. Doesn't tend to stain or bleed much, in my experience. Definitely one to leave in all day or overnight, it can fade quickly. Not too difficult to get it to last a solid two months without needing retouching if you wash your hair only every other day in cold or even lukewarm water.
  • Probably my most favourite Manic Panic colour, super gorgeous colour, like pine trees. Lasts quite a while and fades to gradually lighter shades of pretty teal.
  • I applied this dye over brassy/caramel lightened hair and achieved forest green hair (not a hint of teal to be seen - which is what I wanted) the colour is absolutely gorgeous and very rich, but the dye gets EVERYWHERE for weeks after. I know this happens with most brightly coloured dyes but this one has been particularly bad in my experience, which makes it more high maintenance as washing your hair becomes like mission impossible just to avoid looking like a smurf lol I would use again though, because the colour and pigment is awesome.
  • Use on unbleached brown hair, gave me a nice dark green. Loved the color, just a mess to keep up with it.
