Reviews of Manic Panic Electric Banana

  • I mixed this color with red and orange, and as a mixing color, it works great. It has an uber-fluorescent glow to it, even when overlapping a color, and it fades very gracefully from what I saw. Mixing it with Atomic Pink made this kick ass, bright neon orange that I'm going to miss!
  • Holy crow! This stuff is bright, and it can hold its own. In some places I had put it over bleached blonde, and in some over another colours pink run off. It goes on a flourescent yellow over the bleached parts, and gradually fades to a somewhat duller yellow (which is still nice). After about a month it was still somewhat bright, and still definitely yellow. Over the pink, it still managed to hold its own and went to the electric sunshine shade. A very great colour!
  • Glows like crazy under uv, is completely neon under normal light too. I've given it a 4 because it's really runny in the jar, which makes it harder to apply, & because it won't completely cover any existing colour you have in your hair: Your hair has to be an even blonde all over. My hair was completely blonde apart from 2 streaks of pink so pale they weren't even noticable anymore & the yellow went orange in those areas.
  • I absolutely love this color. I wasn't sure if it would work well with my hair or not, because my shade of brown seems to be picky about what colors it looks good with and what it doesn't look good with. The contrast was amazing though, and it really is completely neon in normal light, and even cooler looking under a black light.
  • Very bright and long lasting color. Great to mix with a blue to make green but trying to make orange with red was a little more difficult.
  • Love this colour. Goes on super highlighter yellow bright and sticks around for quite a while, even if it loses a little of the neon edge.
  • This is one of the most awesome bright colours, if that's what you're after. Glows amazingly under UV/blacklight. Lasted a very long time, at least a couple of months. Brilliant colour!
  • Very bright and works well with other colors, also lasts a long time at least a month and a half. Beautiful fade out into a pale yellow works great as a full head dye or an accent color, or even just to give a more neon boost to your existing color.
  • One of my favorites truly a NEON yellow if your are bleached down enough to a pale pale blonde or even white blonde. :)totally a keeper for me! :)
