So highly pigmented is Deep Purple Dream that you may find it rubs off on your hands/clothes/bedding for the first week or two after use, so we recommend you take precautions to avoid colouring anything valuable.

It’s gorgeous velvety purple is ideal for covering darker blondes and uneven bases and it will make even dry, damaged hair shine!

Like a lot of dark purples, it’s best to let this colour wash out as it can turn green if you use bleach or colour remover on fresh colour.

For best results apply to hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blonde. Do not mix with peroxide.

Shampoo hair using a deep cleansing shampoo. Apply to freshly washed, dry hair. Apply evenly using a tint brush and comb through until frothy. Cover your hair with a plastic cap and leave for 30 minutes. You can apply heat to intensify the process.

Rinse with cold water, away from your face.

Reviews of Manic Panic Deep Purple Dream

  • I have black hair and never ever died it before. Can i apply this to my black hair without bleaching? I really dont want a vibrant colour, at all, i just want MATTE DARK PURPLE colour so would that give me what i want? or i'd need to at least bleach it to dark brown or brown to show up?
  • this fades to a pink shade on my hair. persistently long staying power (to the point where I want to bleach it out altogether). nice for people who loves plummish purple, but not me.
  • This faded to blue with one wash. A second wash and it was teal. A third wash and it was this horrid swamp green. The green I never could get out. My natural hair colour is strawberry-brown. The green totally clashed with the reds in my hair and I hated how it looked over the natural colour, and the bleached parts was just a brighter ugly green.
