Lagoon Blue

Directions works best on hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blonde. Some paler shades as well as toners will only work on very light hair. Apply directly to dry or slightly damp, freshly washed (but not conditioned hair) using a tint brush for best results, or use gloved fingers to spread the dye evenly through your hair. Allow to process for at least 15 minutes and do not allow to dry out. Rinse thoroughly. To avoid temporary staining to the skin, apply a layer of Vaseline around your hairline and ears before applying the colour.

Reviews of Directions Lagoon Blue

  • I didn't find it lasted very long as it was so pale- I would recommend a stronger colour if you want something bright, but this might be for you if you don't want anything too offensive. ;)
  • i have just used it on my hair and is infact siting with iot on for the 4th time today !!! the colour just wouldent catch my hair :| !!!!! and it was bleached underneeth but to an orangy shade due to the rest of my hair being a redish colour
  • Not a fan of this, and was actually pretty gutted to see how this turned out on my hair. Used it over the light blonde parts of hair and it barely took at all and even when did showed up as a pretty dull light blue and faded within the first wash. Good for it you want a quick fix of bright hair and a more pastel colour over lighter hair, but I found myself covering this up with other shades.
  • I actually really like the colour it created but you have to make sure your hair is bleached fully. I had a slight hint of orange tones after bleaching and it appeared green after the dye. It was also a bit paler than I expected. Nice, but could have been better.
  • I like the colour, but it's blending out very fast to some ugly colour (blue/gray/green-yuck!). I put it on my bleached hair (60min) and the colour was very intense! Now I'm testing stargazer ^_^
  • Bought this while ago. I had bleached hair but it still wouldn't catch my hair perfectly. After second coloring it was little bit better, but not what I had expected.
  • The color worked decently for me. My hair still had some yellow that refused to tone out, but I decided to try it anyways. The first dye turned a light blue-green, though another round of dye on top of that produces a pretty aqua!
  • Very pretty colour
  • It's a really beautiful colour but I struggle to get it to stick to my hair. Also it goes greeny at the slightest hint of a yellow base. Faded quickly to green, unsurprisingly!
