This is a really unique powdery lavender-pink shade which is very pastel. If you want to get a good result from this colour it’s essential that your hair is lightened to pale blonde before application. Aim for a very even base colour as pastels tend to show up inconsistencies.

Apply this colour generously and with a tint brush. Don’t emulsify the colour until you’re sure it’s been applied evenly as this could lead to a patchy result.

Marshmallow fades over about 3 weeks to a really soft shade of white (when applied to pale blonde hair). You can dilute it about 1:1 with conditioner to make your own white toner too!

Apply directly to damp or dry hair using a tint brush for best results. Wear protective gloves to avoid temporary staining to skin and nails. Massage the product into your hair and allow to process for at least 15 minutes. Cover with a cap to avoid drying out. Rinse thoroughly in warm water.

  • Precautions

Crazy Colour should be used exactly as supplied without the addition of any other substance - it does not require a developer. For the brightest results the hair must be bleached to pale blond. Platinum and Silver will only work on very light hair.

Do not use Crazy Colour on hair containing more than 10% white. Do not add peroxide. Do not mix with permanent colourants.

Colours may cause permanent staining on textiles and porous surfaces. Staining to baths, sinks and showers can be removed with household bleach. Always check manufacturer's instructions.

Reviews of Crazy Color Marshmallow

  • I don't know if it's just my hair but the colour didn't take at all. It's just toned my hair to a silver colour. I'm not impressed with these new Crazy Colors at all :(
  • Didn't take or stay in my hair for long at all, and my hair was bleached white blonde at the time so i don't actually know how that is possible! Toned it nicely though
  • @junketconspiracy = try toning the bleached hair with a wella platinum blonde toner,,shampoo,,than apply marshmallow ^_^
  • The colour didn't take at all on my hair either, got into a weird grey colour. Didn't toned very well on my hair also, I wouldn't recommend it. :(
  • Mixing a pink and a lavender got the results I wanted this dye to produce but didn't. Waaaaaay pale.
  • Hasn't taken at all. I'd bleached my hair beforehand so now I'm left with a horrible blonde/ginger colour. The actual dye is a violet/lilac colour but as soon as it went on my head it turned white. Definitely not impressed.
  • Has basically no pigment, I don't know what they were thinking with this. My friend used this on her level 10 white blonde hair and it did nothing. No color at all.
