Reviews of Adore - Wild Cherry

  • I used this in part of my hair, and it didn't come out as pink toned as I hoped. I's definitely a cooler red, but it's more like a deeper pillarbox red. It's still very lovely, long lasting and fades beautifully. Report Comment
  • This is an interesting red; I would call it a 'garnet' or indeed a 'red cherry' ;) as its not overly bright but muted and rich in quite a pretty way, and has both pinkish and orangey notes. My first Adore dye, and I expected it to be messy to apply as it is much runnier than Special Effects but I was pleasantly surprised, it went on super easy and stuck well to the hair when I coated it. Not much shower run either, and it seemed to be lasting well, but unfortunately it faded like heck when I swam in a chlorinated pool 2 weeks after dying it, something the SFX and Manic Panic dyes I had on other parts of my hair seemed to survive fine. I'll use up the bottle and would try Adore again, but unfortunately its just not one for swimmers so I won't personally repurchase. Report Comment
