Reviews of Adore Purple Rage

  • This color has a really liquid-like consistency, which made it very easy to apply. I dyed my friend's hair with this color and it came out a rich, dark purple and has lasted very well so far.
  • I'm really disappointed. This color didn't dye my hair at all. After 25 minutes of installation, my hair stayed bright blonde as before.
  • I really like this color but mines turned out black purple I also used hot purple by crazy colour and I'm really upset with the results. I really wish it was more purple on my hair.
  • I put this color on a very imperfect base because I was impatient to have an unnatural color again. It covered the whole mess very evenly with a very dark purple color. The dye is extremely pigmented. The color stayed fairly even for a few weeks, lightening progressively to a bright fuchsia on the whiter parts of my hair and a muted pink on the darker ones. Overall the color lasted for more than six weeks and it could've lasted longer if I hadn't gotten tired of it ;) Be warned that if you try to bleach it out, it can turn a greenish gray. However I was able to deal with those green tones with a couple of vitamin c fading treatments. Overall I'm pleased with the dye, another good color from Adore.
  • This my favorite purple so far. Pigmented, balanced and long lasting.
  • I'm a bit disappointed this brand did not live up to my expectations. The colour looked lovely but fasted quite quickly even though it has been called one of the longest lasting. I did'nt get any rub-off on my clothes or bed linen but any strays hairs that fell onto my bathroom bench made long purple lines, even after a few washes. Maybe it was just me, everyones hair is different but other brands have given me a better result.
  • While it's an absolutely beautiful colour and applies extremely easily; it fades to blue-purple after washing it just once and is pretty much gone by 3 or 4 washes; while any Directions colours lasts much, much longer (my turquoise by now barely fades at all and for example a single layer of Directions voilet barely changes colour after 3 or 4 times of washing and will fade at léast 4 or 5 times slower. While I'm in love with the colour (especially after leaving it in for long, but even then it fades with one or two washes into a different colour and is gone with one or two more washes; and I wash my hair with practically cold water and I don't shampoo my tips; in which I used the colour. Won't be buying it again; although I love the colour. For people who don't mind fast fading; it ís a pretty perfect purple, but it's gone so fast it's not worth the money for me even :(
