I can't login/register.
When you register an account with us we will first send you an email containing a link you need to click to finish off the registration. Without this you will get an error when trying to log in.
* Check your email account and junk folders for an email from us about your account activation.
* Click on the activation link within the email. You will be directed to our site.
* You should now be able to login.
If the above steps do not work, or you don't receive the confirmation email, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
Registration confirmation is necessary to avoid automated spamming of the website. We appreciate your cooperation.

I have a Problem with my Order
Whether you haven't received your order and it's been a while or you haven't received any order updates, the first thing to do is check your order history for more information. Some mail accounts can mark our order update emails as junk, so the order history will tell you everything that's been happening with your order. Please do not raise a dispute with PayPal or your card company without first emailing us. We can usually resolve any problems directly, so please let us know if you have any issues. We're here to help. If you haven't received your order just let us know by clicking here.

I've been Overcharged
As we're based in the UK all of our prices are in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP) and you'll see this denoted by the pound symbol £ throughout the site. Due to currency differences an order that costs £15 GBP may show on your credit card statement as $20 US Dollars (or whatever your local currency is), for example.
Our shopping cart system is fully automated so it's unlikely that you would ever actually be overcharged. However if you still think this may have been the case please don't hesitate to get in touch so that we can help you resolve the problem.

You can get an up-to-date currency conversion at sites like xe.com but please keep in mind that currencies fluctuate daily and rates may vary with your bank or card issuer.

How Soon Will My Order Arrive?
After your order has been packed up and posted we'll send you an email to let you know it's on its way. For UK orders delivery is usually 1-2 working days later. For Europe expect to wait around 3-5 working days, to North America takes around 5-7 working days and the rest of the world is around 7-10 days, although it's common for overseas orders to take 1-3 weeks to arrive. How much does shipping to ____ cost?
We calculate your postage costs based on the destination and weight of your order so it's not possible to give a general answer. However, when you start checking out the products in your shopping cart we'll tell you the price of any postal options available to you before you have to pay. You can adjust your order accordingly if you want to before completing checkout.

Do you give discounts on large orders/wholesale pricing?
This can be arranged. Please contact us to discuss this. Include the user name or email address you use to log in if you have one. Also please give us an idea of the products and quantities of each that you have in mind.

Are these products tested on animals?
Most of the products we sell, Special Effects, Directions, Crazy Colour, Pravana, Adore and Stargazer have not been tested on animals. We have included an ingredients list for most product on each product page but if you have further concerns please feel free to contact us about it.

Are the dyes permanent? How long will they last?
Generally most unnatural colours will be semi-permanent but how long they last depends on the dye and the condition of your hair. Dark colours tend to take longer to wash out than pastel shades. Some brands tend to last longer than others. The initial colour and porosity of your hair will affect the longevity of the colour, with most colours lasting best on hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blonde.
Most colours will take several weeks to wash out of your hair but please be aware that some staining may occur so it's not advisable to use medium-dark colours if you have to have your hair back to blonde by the end of the school holidays.

Do I need to bleach my hair?
Not necessarily. Colours like blue and purple work best on hair that has been bleached to a pale creamy blonde. Normal colour mixing rules apply – so if you apply blue to yellow-blonde hair it will have a greener appearance, or applying a light colour on top of dark hair will have little effect. If you don't want to lighten your hair, some shades should still be noticeable. Red works well on light brown, blonde or naturally red/ginger hair. Deep plums will also show up on many natural shades although the end result will be less vibrant. Always do a strand test before applying the dye to your hair.

When will more ___ be in stock?
We try to keep all our items in stock but due to changing hair colour trends and delays caused by importing some products, this isn't always possible. However, we usually get the product back in stock within a short period of time so check back frequently. Keep an eye on the front page where we post any news.

How do I add my picture?
We have a huge gallery of hair colours and styles on our site and would love to see your picture!
Go to (you may need to log in first) and upload your photo through the form. Your photo will now be in our gallery! We pick our favourite photos to show with the products we sell so keep a look out for your photo.

Help! I can't register/my account has been deactivated!
If you've just signed up for an account and can't log in the first thing to do is check your email. We send a confirmation email which contains a link that you need to visit to complete your registration. Until you do this your account is not active. Don't forget to check your junk folder for this email!
