So... I wanted to go a green/blue colour. I faded my hair to a baby-blue (leftover lagoon blue and atlantic blue) and added only greens as i know how much my hair loves to suck in blue pigment! I bleached my roots and added the allmost forest green looking dye... and this is what came out. It's not ugly, but HOW AND WHY DOES EVERYTHING ALLWAYS BECOME BLUE WITH ME? :P XD The only part that became 'acceptable greenish blue' is the part of my freshly bleached roots- i guess the rest is too blue stained...
I can't even with this... This might be my favorite hair color to date. This is my first time doing green all over my head and not just as an accent color. I started with Pravana Neon Green at the roots which is amazingly bright and gorgeous; then I mixed Pravana Green with a ton of conditioner to lighten it, but I may skip the conditioner next time or just use less; finally I mixed Goldwell Turquoise with Pravana Blue to coat the ends, which ended up being a lot lighter than I anticipated, I thought the Turquoise and Blue mixture would be a lot darker, but I'm happy with the result!
Well. These colors are all diluted. The purple I used before is not really wanting to come out of my mid strand, so I am trying to keep it interesting. The green is on my roots, I added the blue velvet next to it, and put the cherry bomb on my ends to make the plummy color. I didn't really need to add the purple; it's barely faded from almost two months ago when I applied it (except on my ends).
