This color is both pale and really bright. It reminds me a lot of UltraViolet, but lighter. Edit: This faded really, really fast. To blue. Urgh

I put 3/4 of bottle (I think) of both Crazy Color Pinkissimo and Stargazer Shocking Pink in conditioner. Let it sit for about 2 hours I think. Covered my head in tin foil. lol. It was over petrol blue hair in some areas more greeny. It resulted in lots of different shades.

I added some brown so that I wouldn't have to worry about roots as much. The colour towards the front is Soft Cerise. I did a layer below of Violet Gem. I also mixed Violet Gem with Atlantic Blue by Directions for the lower layers which is not visible. The colour is a thick slice going from my parting diagonally towards the back of my head with each colour placed in horizontal panels.

Perhaps I'm not meant to have wine-colored hair more than a few days, lol. Within a few days of the previous color, it was already going reddish-pink on me again. (I am so DONE with red or reddish-pink. Possibly forever.) So in desperation I threw straight Purple Haze over the front and added a little more to the back. It's not the least bit red now. *relieved sigh*

Mmmh, transitional colour... I have a more exciting hair project in my mind for a wedding I'll attend at the end of August, so this is just for my summer holiday :>

I mixed Punky Plum and Flamingo Pink and some Suave Tropical Coconut conditioner and enjoyed the fruit cocktail aroma for the last couple of days! The color is maybe a little darker and a little redder than this but it is pretty close.

A few days ago I decided to go dark purple, after I went to my original stylist to get my hair evened out and properly trimmed. My hair was MPs Mystic Heather, which I never got a good shot of for my timeline before it faded too much. So I decided to do my customary peroxide soak, 10 volume developer soak for ten minutes. I rinsed and washed it all out, dried my hair with a dryer on warm and added the dye, slightly diluted for less bleeding, but not enough to change the color. I let it sit for 2.5 hours adding heat every 20 minutes or so. Afterwards I shampooed my hair a couple of times to minimise the bleeding, slicked my hair down and let it air dry. I really haven't experienced too much bleeding with this dye, after taking the above described precautions :D

So my last color only lasted until I shampooed once or twice (it was a clarifying shampoo, so no surprise there). I decided to add more Rubine (there was a tiny bit of Ion Fuschia in the mix, but not much) with some conditioner. I let it mingle a lot more with the left-behind Ion Aqua, and I wound up with an interesting berry-to-lilac gradient. This shows the longer, more lilac-y side; the other photos will show the shorter side (and you'll be able to see the contrast more).

You can see really well here how much all the overnight coconut oil soaks have faded the violet out from my roots! Also, it's safe to say my Cocochoco Brazilian Keratin treatment is completely 100% out, my cowlick is back to it's massive, annoying old ways lol. I'm just going to roll with it though, not use heat at ALL, whatsoever, keep up with my normal routine, I have nice sharp shears again now...I just want my hair to be the length it was when it was black and I'll feel a lot better. Waist length is my goal though!

I mixed MP Amplified Ultra Violet about 1 to 1 with conditioner. It is actually a bit darker than the picture. This is taken outside; you get an idea of how it might look under fluorescent and incandescent light (blue and purple, respectively). Please ignore the dents on my nose from my glasses. :/
