Photos of Purple Hair
Joico semi perm indigo
Previous colours as base, then one "coat" of conditioner + Neon Blue. MUCH better than before :D
just a drop of violet per quarter cup conditioner! it actually photographed a lot pinkier than it looks in person.
This color took quite some time to fade on me but even when it did it was quite lovely.
- Punky Colour — Plum (Punky)
This purple was extremely blue based but did fade a little more purple It was a very messy dye and extremely short lived. If you look closely you'll see it didn't take to a lot of pieces in the fringe and left them white and silvery.
This color is both pale and really bright. It reminds me a lot of UltraViolet, but lighter. Edit: This faded really, really fast. To blue. Urgh
I put 3/4 of bottle (I think) of both Crazy Color Pinkissimo and Stargazer Shocking Pink in conditioner. Let it sit for about 2 hours I think. Covered my head in tin foil. lol. It was over petrol blue hair in some areas more greeny. It resulted in lots of ...
I added some brown so that I wouldn't have to worry about roots as much. The colour towards the front is Soft Cerise. I did a layer below of Violet Gem. I also mixed Violet Gem with Atlantic Blue by Directions for the lower layers which is not visible. The ...
Perhaps I'm not meant to have wine-colored hair more than a few days, lol. Within a few days of the previous color, it was already going reddish-pink on me again. (I am so DONE with red or reddish-pink. Possibly forever.) So in desperation I threw straight Purple Haze over the ...
Mmmh, transitional colour... I have a more exciting hair project in my mind for a wedding I'll attend at the end of August, so this is just for my summer holiday :>
I mixed Punky Plum and Flamingo Pink and some Suave Tropical Coconut conditioner and enjoyed the fruit cocktail aroma for the last couple of days! The color is maybe a little darker and a little redder than this but it is pretty close.

my first pravana experience. i left it on for approx 25mins, rinsed, and repeated the process once again just to be sure it really took. so far, it seems to be working awesomely, and i'm very impressed by how bright it is!
A few days ago I decided to go dark purple, after I went to my original stylist to get my hair evened out and properly trimmed. My hair was MPs Mystic Heather, which I never got a good shot of for my timeline before it faded too much. So I ...
So my last color only lasted until I shampooed once or twice (it was a clarifying shampoo, so no surprise there). I decided to add more Rubine (there was a tiny bit of Ion Fuschia in the mix, but not much) with some conditioner. I let it mingle a lot ...
Used: N'Rage: Bubblegum Pink N'Rage: Twisted Teal I wasn't completely happy with my first attempt because it came out a bit too dark, so I shampoo the dye out a couple of times; dilute both the purple and teal (just a little), left it on for an hour and this ...
You can see really well here how much all the overnight coconut oil soaks have faded the violet out from my roots! Also, it's safe to say my Cocochoco Brazilian Keratin treatment is completely 100% out, my cowlick is back to it's massive, annoying old ways lol. I'm just going ...
Crazy Color - Peacock Blue wouldnt want to get off properly. i used a mix of Tulip (not dark Tulip) and Carnation Pink with Conditioner on top and got this gradient look.
I mixed MP Amplified Ultra Violet about 1 to 1 with conditioner. It is actually a bit darker than the picture. This is taken outside; you get an idea of how it might look under fluorescent and incandescent light (blue and purple, respectively). Please ignore the dents on my nose ...
I wanted to post a better picture lucky today was a sunny day
this time I mixed half violet and half wild orchid and used it all over. the dye job was about two weeks old at time of picture
