bleached my dark brown hair again -> almost yellow, slightly gingerish ends -- then added the blue on top. Blue part: German Schwarzkopf Live Electric Blue (very similar to Directions Midnight Blue), Pinkish part: Directions Cerise, mixed together for the purple meeting :)

Fresh midnight blue over a weird bleached brassy base :) best blue dye

This is Poseidon by Arctic Fox over freshly bleached hair. The ends lifted almost to white, so the color was more concentrated in that area. In person, the ends were nearly a cerulean blue, very bright! Faded out to a really nice mint green.

Five-week fade on Adore Royal Navy & Arctic Fox Purple Rain. I don't feel the Royal Navy has actually faded substantially the past couple weeks; it's stayed a really nice medium blue. I think I'll be wanting to re-dye my roots before this color fades out! I wash my hair three times a week with sulfate and paraben-free products, but otherwise do lots of things I shouldn't, like using warm water and hair dryers. :)

Adore Royal Navy slightly diluted with Arctic Fox Purple Rain and Poseidon with some Purple Rain highlights, on a clean light blonde base. I had heard Royal Navy was a little flat, which is why I added just a bit of the AF to add a bit of sheen.

Manic Panic voodoo blue diluted with Shea Moisture raw Shea butter restorative conditioner to create a pastel shade, processed under a cap with a bit of heat for 28 minutes. Picture is after a few washings, color still looks great!

Yes, it's dark! This is diluted a lot too! Def more conditioner than dye.

Ta da! I have dyed over the pink, and I am very happy with the end result. I was expecting a weird purple but I got a lovely darker shade of blue. Yay! I'm ready to parade through the summer holidays with flying colours (of blue!)
