    Protien treatment for bleached hair..

Hi I just recently bleach bathed toned and dyed my roots, a week ago, I'm pretty much at white. The week of going to the salon I used an Aphogee 2 step protien treatment and it worked great! Before the salon after the treatment my hair was the perfect elasticity and my curls were the best they had been since being blonde. After the salon my hair feels rough and limp and stretches quite a bit when wet, and my curl pattern is weakened. I am wondering if I can do another 2 step protien treatment. Only a week has past since my last one but since the bleach took a toll on my hair I'm thinking it could help. Or maybe a less intense protien treatment like a rice water rinse or the aphoee strengthening kit? Let me know what you think. I am also using bond building products to restore hair but my hair loves protien and nothing bring my curls back like aphogee. Thank you for your help!

You should be fine to use it again. Protein overload is annoying, but it does wash out eventually, so it's not the worst thing that can happen to your hair.

Protein treatment should be applied as needed. If you are attaining protein through diet and you have keratin in your moisturizers, conditioners, and shampoos and your hair is healthy there will be no need for specific protein treatments. Use repairing and protecting leave in products after each shampoo. These have done well on my damaged hair...!!
