Stuck on how to cut/style my hairby SophiepaulPosted 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Hey everyone, so I haven’t had my hair cut since around last christmas and I usually just get it trimmed but apart from the colour, I feel like it doesn’t really have anything to it. The thing is I don’t know what to do with it and because I’m blind I find it hard to know what would and wouldn’t suit me, my sister suggested I get a fringe but if any of you guys could give any other advice or ideas that’d be really helpful!

I think a fringe would definitely look nice, but it can be a bit of maintenance, since it requires regular trims. You could do a side-part fringe and you could sweep to the side, which is a bit lower maintanence, but will still sometimes fall onto your face. Other than that, have you considered a shorter bob (maybe around chin length) or an undercut? I'm a bit biased since I have pretty short hair with an undercut, but I find both of those things are nice for people wanting a change. If you want to start with something relatively "safe," I think a shoulder-length chop with a side-part fringe would be a good starting place.

I think a long lob/bob with a short side fringe would look cute.

Hello! Maybe you should just add some layers because usually when I am bored with my hair I tend to cut it off and then regret it. But if you add some layers it feels a lot nicer, looks different and you didn't sacrifice your hair length :) I hope I could help. Greetings ✨
