Flat and definitely not fabulousby AbcdwagssPosted 4 months, 1 week ago
I need help yall. I'm in my 30s and have had this forever issue since I was young. I have EXTREMELY thin, fine brunette hair. Unprocessed (all of it grew out) and very long. I was a cheerleader and always felt comfortable wearing high pony tails. My ponytail hair is perfect but the roots up to the barrette is very flat and thin. I'm not sure what to try to use to loosen it up a bit or if I need some sort of a voluminous spray to fluff her up a little bit but I have naturally oily scalp and hair that gets easily greasy with product. I've tried dry shampoo and several hair sprays and texturizing sprays.
The hair world has completely changed since I was younger and I have no idea what types of products are available they could be used for this problem. Please help me!! ??

How about a texturising powder? Got2b Powderful is one example; I think there are a few other brands available.
A lot of people wear clip in extensions regularly. That might be a good option to add some thickness and volume for you when you wear your hair down.
Have you looked at blow drying techniques? There are tons of videos on YouTube for doing a bouncy blow dry. That combined with a texturising product might do the trick.
