Frizzy Bleached Hairby kiyuwuPosted 1 year, 1 month ago
I've tried many things to reduce my hair from frizzing when drying it but nothing ever works. I always have to straighten my hair and use heat styling spray. But whenever I go to hair salons and they dry my hair, they do it so perfectly straight without it being as frizzy! I literally don't know what to do to stop it frizzing anymore.

These suggestions may or may not work for you. Try them for a while and find out what your hair likes. Are you familiar with the curly girl hair care method?
Get rid of product buildup - use clarifying shampoo monthly. Remember weekly intensive treatments for at least 15 minutes. Wash with only conditioner as often as possible, maybe every second wash. No brushing hair or rough towel drying. Use leave in conditioner after washing. Use suitable light gel for wavy hair for hold. Avoid further bleaching and heat damage, maybe wear braids instead of straightening.

I have struggled with frizzy hair for years. The main cause for frizz is dryness.if your using an iron on your hair daily it will dry your hair out. If recommend laying off the heat and also using coconut oil in your hair also Argan or jojoba oil works well work it in after you get out of the shower not too much and it should be less frizzy. The more moisturized it is the less frizz.

I agree with the above, I always have to leave some oils in hair before letting it dry (mixture of argan oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, and a few essential oils for the smell), and every other day, I also put some oils in before braiding it and going to bed.I understand once you bleach coarse hair and kind of strip it, it becomes lighter and no longer falls down nicely, so I give it back some weight.
