Hiya guys, long time no see! Feel like I haven't posted on here in foreverrrr but there's been a good reason, my hair is kinda boring! ?
Anyway, as you've probably gathered from the thread title, I'm getting married this year...eeeep! And I really have no clue what to do with my hair! ?
I have been doing the typical 'grow it out cos you're a bride" kinda thang but I'm not really sure if I'm feeling it - feel like a spaniel with two floppy ears on the sides of my head. Hmmmm! ?
I will let you in on a little secret though; I'm hoping to wear this harvest crown - we're having a tiki tropical Hawaii in England themed wedding (?) and I'm hoping it will fit with that or am I going to just look faintly ridiculous??!
Sooo, hairstyle ideas please! Do I persevere and keep my hair as is and do something with it or do I get cut off (I'm hankering for my bowl cut again, eeek).
Please help!
(In all pics my hair has been freshly washed and air dried with nothing done to it.)

Congratulations yea!!!! i would curl it all and twist the sides back so that they are under the crown something like this? https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR1FEvUhvNlrvxdk18QrtrN1ifT_QumN7PdGUnGqB__kvCrmZzcNg
Thanks @Dizzinea. :)
I'm trying to work out what you mean by saying the sides should be under the crown? Also I've never curled my hair before (well not properly anyway), would I use curling tongs?
I have been doing a little bit of thinking and thought perhaps having my hair flicked out could look cute or what about a half up style which is a bit beehivey? Want it to be relatively simple as I'll be the one executing it. Eep!

Beehivey (tho the back will probably be down as I don't think my hair will be long enough) - https://www.haircrazy.com/timelines/katox/12929/

Congratulations! How long is it until the wedding?
I think instead of doing the grow your hair out cause you're a bride thing, cut your hair into whatever style feels most "you" and then have lots of fun with the accessories. Splash out and have someone make a custom piece for you on Etsy if you're not making it yourself. The best weddings are the ones that express the couple's personalities IMO.

ok i mean just pull up the sides and pin them then slap the crown on, however the flippy ends thing is so darn cute ignore me and go with that instead :)
7th September @Jude and the thing on my head in the last photo on my first post is from Etsy and what I'm hoping to be wearing! :)
Shall I try the flicky ends thing with the crown thing on @Dizzinea and see how it looks?

Congratulations!
Based on the current hair color a suggested outside the box idea. Suggest shave the back of the red hair to 1/8 inch tall or 0.5 centimeters from the nape of the neck to below the occipital lobe. The occipital lobe is the raised bump in the center of the back of the head. The hair above the occipital lobe will and should cover over the hair that was shaved. The unshaved hair should cover over the shaved hair like a garage door that is closed as an example. By a professional that is good at hair etching, suggest have him/her etch a heart in the center of the red hair. Hair etching is drawing designs in shaved hair.
Agree with Jude the best wedding are a joint expression of each persons ideas =, thoughts and feelings.
This is my humble suggestion. I am very happy for you katox.
yes try the flicky ends and then let me see!!! i think it would be super cool and cute
