Time for a change! What should I do?by RubyBluePosted 1 month ago
Ive had very long purple and pink hair for years now. I love it, but I'm starting to get bored with it. I'm thinking about doing a big chop, but very nervous. Have you done this and how did you cope? What color, cut style should I try next? Would love some ideas from all you pretty people! If it helps: - I have straight hair with a slight wave (less when longer) - I don't like colors I'm stuck with for life. Been in virgin rose stained hair hell for years. - My natural hair is like 30% gray, and not the pretty kind, so I like to cover it for now. - My timeline is pretty up to date if you want to see what I have already done and what I look like with short blond hair :)

Also this is my hair as of yesterday, going to try a fading treatment today to see how light I can get the purple/pink. It's also down to the middle of my back and my bangs have grown out a ton.

It seems you've done so much already, but how about blue? Like a purple-toned blue, so it could maybe just go over the purple? As for the cut, I don't know. :P

I think you pulled off the shoulder-length cut from your older photos, so that could be a good first step. You could always go shorter later. Also, if you don't mind growing it out, I think an undercut would also be cool and you could die patterns into it.
Colour-wise I think multi-colour stuff is always fun to experiment with. Sunset patterns are really easy and look very impressive. I am personally a big fan of mixing turquoise and purple, too.
