Treat yourself - we have hundreds of hair colours to choose from!
Admittedly, it was stupid of me to try something without knowing what I was doing. I google searched and found that supposedly 10v just added color, didnt open the cuticle, but also didn't last as long. So I went ahead and used some reds from the Wella color tango line.
It came out WAAAY darker than I expected. Then, I washed it ONCE, and it turned into a gross brassy brown. I look ridiculous. I need it gone so I can go to my "natural" orangey red, using my "go to" brand Adore.
I've used clarifying shampoo and dish soap, to no avail. My hair absolutely cannot handle anything else bleach wise. Color remover NEVER works for me either.
Please help me. I'm about to cry. I'm at my wits end with my hair.
And I should add, I have very limited time, so I'm looking for a quick fix as opposed to waiting it out. I can't express how much I hate it.
if you want a quick fix look at a warm red semi, something with orange tones like rock n roll red would work it would be darker but not brown more of an auburn, what color removers have you tried? maybe strand test one and only color fix it's an excellent color remover. if you can get back to where you were then look at adore semis they have a lot of great ginger colors that would work very well
Unfortunately, I feel like colour remover would be the only quick fix that wouldn't massively damage your hair (though it's still risky if your hair is on the edge). If you throw some red directly over it, it would probably go toward more of a deeper burgundy, which you might prefer.
I have the adore colors already. I just know throwing them over this would end up waaaay too dark, because this crap came out awful.
I've used color oops, maybe I'll try it again. I need it gone like, tonight so I can fix it tomorrow. I'm so livid.
And going darker is NOT something I want at all. I just came from black hair after my green. Staying away from burgundy, it looks awful on my skin tone.
I'm going to a 24hr CVS and getting whatever color remover they have. Wish me luck.
also try some dandruff shampoo soaks for at least half an hour and cover and apply heat
that should help fade
i recently tried vitamin c with dandruff shampoo to get some old color out that color fix wouldn't. it worked really well for me..
