Hi everyone, I'd like to dye my hair purple, and I currently have a faded Directions Dark Tulip on my hair. Below that, the base is yellow to pale blonde to white in some spots. I'm attaching pictures of the original base and of my current pinkish hair (in some spots it's more purplish, quite uneven).
I'd love a cold purple but I am terrified of fading green, and I really don't want to end up green when I'll bleach my roots again. What are some purple dyes that won't fade green given my base? I'd like a purple which is as cold as possible, but I know that those contain more blue and fade green... I like shades like SE Deep Purple, Pravana Violet, Directions Violet. Do you think that I should orient myself on a different and safer shade range instead?

Purples without fading to green would be red based purples. Red based purples are Punky Color or Directions Purple. Another red based purple is Purple Haze by Manic Panic. Also another red based purple is any purple by Arctic Fox.
Sadly Special Effects went out of business many moons ago. I loved Special Effects Deep Purple, Electric Blue , Blood Red, Iguana Green, and Sonic Green.
I am not certain what a safer range would be, because a product that works very well on one person may not work very well for another person. Safe probably depends on the products that work best for yourself is my guess.
