Neon green over light pink?by addybear222Posted 1 week, 5 days ago
so my goal is to get neon green money pieces. i had adore sunrise orange up until maybe a week and a half ago when i bleached it. it was looking pink and i was fine with it cuz i obviously was not expecting blond in one session.
but like the dumb b that i am, i put black dye in the rest of my hair and then rinsed it all out at the same time, so of course the black bled into the pink and made some parts a light purple. so i bleached it again and got a super pale peach color with some light pink in sections.
bleached it again tonight and the pink is so stubborn and lightened the tiniest bit, the rest is an acceptable color to put light green over. i was just wondering if i put adore green apple over this, would it end up a gross muddy color? because no way i'm bleaching again.
yes i know pictures would help but for the life of me, the pink won't photograph. i got some pics that slightly, SLIGHTLY show it. not very helpful, i know. it is a super pale pink, right up near my roots. also included a photo of the dye i plan to use.

I have never used Adore Green Apple. So, I do not know if this is a light, medium, or a dark green.
Over 20 years ago I had a similar very light pink and wanted green for St Patrick's Day. I applied Punky Color Apple Green over the very light pink. Punky Color Apple Green is a medium green. The result was 95% of my hair was a medium green. About 5% of my hair were very thin strands of a medium purple.
My humble guess is you may have similar results. Suggest a strand test with the apple green by Adore tested on a very small strand of the very light pink hair. Then check the strand every few minutes.
These are my opinions and suggestions.
