Can anyone recommend a good hot/bright pink colorby iiweazlePosted 2 weeks, 5 days ago
I need a bright pink that has staying power, I hear the Directions brand lasts?

Try virgin rose dye. It's a beautiful bright pink, not sure how hot of a preference you want to though.

It depends on the shade and what kind of colour you're going for. I personally like Directions Rose Red and Cerise quite a lot, but they are super pigmented and need to be diluted quite a bit (at least 1:5 dye to condition, in my experience) just to not bleed everywhere while still maintaining a pretty bright magenta. Directions' lighters shades have more variance in performance in my experience. I feel like Carnation Pink is the best of the lot.

I just tried Cerise by Directions and I love how it turned out - check my latest photo on my timeline. It has really pretty purple reflects/undertones.
