    Splotchy green hair?

Hello hi. I never have dyed my own hair i have always gone to professionals but someone brought it to my attention my new green hair looks horribly splotchy and i want opinions. Is it really that bad? I have had green hair for years it tends to be different everytime and i just want a uniformed green. I always tend to have a blonding band on where my bleach ends and my old green starts since we never bleach my whole green section so i dont get damage. But. Idk. How bad is it? What do you guys advise i do? I really would want it fix but i am no pro and it is really hard to get ahold of my stylist and i dont wanna do more trial and error with another.

I don’t think it looks that bad to be honest! The only problem is that when the green fades to a paler colour the darker/lighter spots might show up a bit more. Thankfully green actually lasts a long time so you don’t have to worry about that! If it’s really bugging you and you’re really set on evening it out, get a different stylist to fix it. Ask for a “colour correction” and they should know what to do :)

It doesn't really look uneven to me. You could try a darker green if you wanted, it might even everything out. Darker colours seem to have that effect because lighter shades will enhance an uneven base.

It looks like you have a band of hair in the middle which is darker than the roots and the ends. You could use a darker green dye or try to bleach that bit of hair again, however you might just get unnecessary damage. I don't think you need a toner if you're going to put more green on top.

Try applying more green then if that doesn't work, maybe try a slightly darker shade of green.
