Bleached directions ebony trying to remove it!by poppyrose95Posted 7 months, 1 week ago
So I used directions ebony and it went a really dark green and I didn't like it at all so am trying to remove it! Bleach has made it this colour and it's cute but not what I want so 1) if I bleached it again do you think it would remove the colour and 2) would another directions colour cover it as it is now?
Im allergic to all hair dyes that have PPD and an also allergic to crazy colour etc the only 2 things I can use are bleach and directions so I'm limited with options ?

Allergies are nothing to sneeze at or make puns about. Honestly the only Directions dye I think could cover the current dark green hair to medium green hair would be After Midnight Blue. Not too long ago in this galaxy used Punky Color Ebony. Punky Color and Directions are so much alike. The ebony faded to a dark to medium blue. For my hair it took two separate bleach sessions to remove the dark to medium blue. So removal by bleach is possible.
Thank you for sharing information about some dyes have PPD. I am a scientist enjoying research and experimentation. Best of luck. Myself would one day love to have the shade of green you have. The one color that does not look good on me and I do not like is purplish-pink.
These are my suggestions and opinions based on over thirty years of non-professional experience.

You should be able to cover it, depending on your goal. I think the best most bleach would do is make it a minty green, but you're likely to have some staining.
