Going a few shades lighter- still need protein filler?by RmrPosted 5 months, 2 weeks ago
I am a natural mousey brown and have been bleaching my hair with L’Oreal blond studio and then toning with loreal dialite 10.22, achieving platimum blonde.
I would like to go a few shades darker before I start to slowly grow out my hair back to natural, for good, and so i was thinking of next toning my hair to dialite 9.3 ‘’light gold’.
My question is, do I need to use a protein filler to avoid going green or might i be safe just to tone to the new shade? The light gold looks only a few shades darker than my current colour- though on the dialite colour chart my current toner is under the purple category and the new toner is under the gold/orange category.
Thank you M

hi, I changed my eldest daughter's hair from highlighted blonde to light brown. Filling means actually adding back the warm pigments which were bleached out. 9.3 should be fine if it is the color you are looking for. 9.31 is nice too. But you will have to retone.. Diarichesse would hold longer on the hair.
