The grays are killing me.by Stephie82Posted 8 months, 2 weeks ago
I’m in need of some help here with my roots. My hair was really damaged so I decided to not do any permanent hair color for a LONG TIME. With that being said it has been six months of no permanent hair color and my hair is healthier and even my stylist noticed a difference when I went for a cut last week. I have been using Overtone and having fun with this purple shade. The downside is the grays. Holy crap the grays. I need to cover them but I don’t want to put permanent hair color in and I don’t want those spray can things either. Do you think a semi permanent brown on my roots would work?

hello, you can totally use a demi permanent to cover gray; it will fade but it won't damage your hair as permanent color. some demi hair dyes are more resistant such as Matrix Colorsync, or Loreal Discolor Richesse, or Wella Color Touch Plus.

Grays do not hold color and are harder to color then natural hair when we are younger. Since a demi humbly suggest leaving on a little longer than bottle suggests. Example if bottle says leave on for 30 minutes suggest 45 minutes. These are my suggestions and opinions.
