Can’t tone this right now :( or can I?by Cenberg87Posted 7 months, 2 weeks ago
Hi I’ve been trying to remove lowlights and ended up getting impatient threw bleach on most the dark prices then all over hair. Now I have a combo of white and gold hair ? do you think wells t18 will make it more natural looking or should I wait. It’s greasy in this picture and also pretty damaged now.

Suggest give the hair a rest of about three weeks. After three weeks try something to lighten the gold blonde hair if this is the goal. In the mean time suggest wash with cold water to close the plates on the hair and help make the hair more smooth. Plus suggest let the hair air dry or pat dry with a towel. Air dry the hair gives time for the hair and scalp to reabsorb moisture/water that was lost.
Toners do not change the color of the hair. So a toner would be useless. Toners help to hide or mask tiny amounts of unwanted color. As example when the color of the hair is the same color as the inside of a banana peel in color and trying to remove the remaining tiny bits of yellow in the hair. A purple based/colored shampoo would work to remove the tiny bits of yellow remaining in the hair in this example.
In my humble opinion both hair colors look good with your skin tones. Best of luck getting the results desired.
This is my opinion and suggestions.

I think it looks pretty natural as it is, at least by my standards. I think T-18 would probably make the lighter regions more starkly white and highlight the difference between the darker and lighter regions. If you wanted to tone, I'd try to find a level 10 neutral blonde toner instead of a white or silver one.
