What styles or crazy things can I do with warm colors such as red and orange??!!Posted 1 year, 2 months ago
I am looking for ideas or inspiration. I am wanting to dye my hair warm colors like red, orange, and yellow? I want a "fiery" look! What styles, designs, or crazy things can I do with those colors? HELP!!
EDIT: I AM LOOKING FOR DYING TECHNIQUES I CAN DO, NOT HAIRSTYLES!!! Different styles of dye I can do, like ombre of half and half.

Knowing the length of the hair would help to determine what could be done.
If the hair is short like 1 to 4 inches (2.54 cm to 10 cm), then with a stiff holding gel spikes could be created and then look like flames.
If the hair is about 6 to 10 inches (15 cm to 25.4 cm), then I would suggest try and make the hair big and add volume maybe a bouffant.
If the hair is greater than 10 inches (25.4 cm plus), then suggest section the hair into four sections, then braid each section. This would create tendrils or streams of flame form the head.
These are my suggestions.

indeed, You can apply one color on the roots, usually darker, and then a different color on lengths & ends, and comb through to make them melt together. If you use foils or paper, you can also color each strand a bit differently; I did this technique on my youngest daughter, and I love the effect; you don't need to do different colors on the bottom of the head, just the top part; I just did slices but I would have done weaves. or diagonal slices would have been better on the part which goes around the mowhock section, as I did horizontal sections. buts its pretty anyway. I'll post a picture on my profile.

I'm always a fan of ombre myself. The Cruella is popular too. Maybe check out the pinwheel technique.
