I started out with bright Blue/Purple hair. I faded it out as much as I could then bleached. Now I'm mostly blond(orange at the roots) but with green tint stuck in the hair. Vitamin C, Vinegar, and/or baking soda are doing nothing to the green. I intend to do a bleach wash to lighten further and maybe spot bleach a few parts. But any ideas on how to take out the green? Will silver dye cover it? Or at least not look horrible?
The second is the more recent picture. It's lighter than it looks. I'll post a better pic when its dry.
The silver dye to be effective needs hair the color of the inside of a banana peel.
Looks like the blue turned green and the green turned yellow. Suggest when the hair is in better shape strand test a very small section with 20 volume bleach.
Just takes time and patience.
These are my suggestions.
Okay okay. I will do my best to wait for the health of my hair. I am an impatient creature. But I think a week or two of a break will do my hair some good before I lighten further. No promises though lol. Thank you for commenting.
