So my worst nightmare has come true.....I have to go back to natural colors for a job. Someone give me advice on what color you think would look good on me!!!!? I'm leaning toward adore French cognac, but I assume I'll have some orange staining so I don't want it to turn a completely unnatural shade. My natural hair color is a shade of brown, but I'm completely unwilling to go black. Pictures for my face and fun.

i think your on the right track fade as much as you can and look for an adore naturalish red brown, one great option is the get copper brown and mix the other brighter colors with it, copper is a great shade and actually could almost just strand test over what you have...
Ideally I would prefer to just color over what I have as opposed to bleaching my whole head. So I think will try that because it will likely take a reddish tone over that orange. Good thinking bc I wasn't even looking at that color before.

I ordered some copper brown per your suggestion. Ill post pics when I'm done. This will be my first time using Adore.

I know stated not black. However, I think wearing black would be good because black would morn the loss of fun vibrant orange hair. I do feel your pain and have been where you are at now.
I am unable to suggest anything else other than the great advice/suggestions so far.
This is my humble opinion.
Lmao that is a great reason to do black bc it really is tragic. Ill start wearing black dress gloves and a black veil to go w it. Really embrace it. I had black hair for a long while before. Now I feel it makes me look quite pale, as I'm already very pale.
