At the end of June I got my hair done so that it was dark brown to blonde ombré. I then dyed it red with manic panic vampire red in July and have been trying to fade it out and it’s now a light red/pink color. I was told if I use a light ash brown on it that it will take the red out but will it actually work?
I would not suggest a light ash brown but a medium ash brown instead. A darker color has a better chance of covering over a color than a lighter color. Ash will help cover over or help mask the red because ash is green based. This is my opinion and suggestions.
Sorry for the double post. I remembered something important. Strongly suggest first test the product to use on a very small section of hair and check the strand every few minutes. This is a strand test and very useful for finding the results.
