Recently on July 6th I decided to dye my hair brown I picked up a dye at Sally’s beauty called 8RC Strawberry Blonde From the brand Age Beautiful ( on the swatches it looks like a golden brown) I used 30 developer my roots turned the exact color but the rest of my hair did not change at all. Which the bottom half was bleached blonde last summer but I dyed it with a semi permanent red & then I used a color remover and was left with light hair with lots of red tones showing thru! I was wondering if there is anything I can do so that the rest of my hair would turn brown to match my roots ?!
The red tones are showing up because you chose a blonde dye with red tones (strawberry blonde is a warm gingery blonde) and it looks from the picture like you still had some risidual warm tones leftover after the colour remover. If you want something cooler look for something neutral (N or NN depending on the brand), or ash (A or AA depending on the brand).
*my mom says I’m so sweet and that’s why spiders keep biting me*
i would use a brown semi on the rest to bring it all to a more close color, though it looks really good with the shadow root look you have now
