Dying over green hair?by Jennagai24Posted 3 years, 3 months ago
Hello! I recently tried dying my hair using a semi permenant blue hair dye, (I had bleached it before) and it turned out very green instead of blue. (You can see in the picture I posted) Although I think the color is pretty, it doesn't suit me and I wanted to know your opinion on what I should do to fix it. I was thinking of dying over it in a week with a non damaging mangenta/ red color to cancel out the green, and if I end up liking it I'll keep it, but if not I plan on doing a dark brown Demi permenant. I don't want to bleach or use strippers even though my hair isn't in bad condition from bleaching, I still don't want to damage it further, but I really want to change the green as quickly as possible. Let me know what you think. I would be super grateful for your opinion. Thank you!

I had bright green hair and used a plum to cancel it out, it actually came out OK. I'd definitely go with something purpley.

you could go over it it with a bluish purple like special effects blue velvet it will give you a deep balenced blue over the green, and help it to fade less green
