Will these colors show on my hair as it is and does my hair look healthy enough to dye?by lcupcake250Posted 3 years, 4 months ago
A couple months ago I dexided to dye my hair black and red to avoid bleaching it for awhile. As it started fading to dark brown and purple/pink I got some cotton candy manic panic hair dye, shamrock color brilliance, and cyan color brilliance. Over the last two weeks or so I've been lightening my hair until I got to this reddish orangey brown color and blonde roots. I used bleach, color remover with no ammonia or bleach or anything harmful, and stuff that I think is a less harsh bleach. My apologies for being so wordy, but I believe that including as many details as possible may help get the best answer. What I'm trying to ask is does my hair look healthy enough to withstand dying or additional lightening if need be, and is it light enough to dye over? Thanks in advance:) Ps. If you think theres a specific way I should order the colors let me know, I always love advice and feedback.

i know the coton candy pink wont , I'd exchange it for hot hot pink, also blues and green really are better over very light color if they show up at all they will go muddy, I'd stick with somthing like red or pink unless your hair is very light

^ Agree on that. Plus how long is it ago since you bleached? the bleach damage usually shows after a month or sometimes more. Before that I would'nt say you can really tell yet. (looking at the state of your hair) I would'nt bleach again and continue the fading. Make sure to pamper the hair very well aswell ( virgin coconut oil masks, hairmasks, etc.). As for colour- I'd start with a real deep and pigmented colour like a berry pink or aubergine. This way it'll make it more even and will be easier to dye another colour after fading that.
