Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut. (It's all just ridiculously overgrown.) My undercuts don't really need to be redone but I'm having them redone anyway just to make everything even.
My redye plan: bleach my roots. Dye most of my hair silver. Then do a rainbow at the top. Where the green currently is (see my latest timeline photo), I'm planning to either expand outward and add a turquoise, a hot pink, and a yellow section to the green; or, if it's light enough after the haircut and bleaching, I'll keep that top section the same size it is now and just add the same colors to a smaller area.
My question regards my undercuts. I can't decide what to do with them. Here are some of my possible options:
a) Bleach them and just go silver to match most of the rest of my hair.
b) Bleach them and dye them one or more of my rainbow colors.
c) Don't bleach them and dye them dark blue or dark pink. Or maybe dark purple.
Opinions? If you have a different dyeing suggestion for my undercuts, I'd welcome those, too!

With your current idea is hard for me to suggest because do not want to take away from the rainbow on top. So in this case would suggest silver for the undercut.
Currently I have very short hair by my nape and dyed this hair a dark forest green and the rest of my hair a light green. Most undercuts would suggest a darker color than the rest of the hair to help emphasize the style of the undercut.
Again because are planning silver with a rainbow, which know will be beautiful, would humbly suggest silver for the undercut to help emphasize the rainbow.
These are my suggestions and best of luck with this fun project.

Thanks @Andya. I was thinking what you're thinking, that I wouldn't want the undercuts to distract from the rainbow. OTH I do enjoy having some color peek through my undercuts, especially the ones on the sides.
Maybe I'll dye my back undercut silver and then use a rainbow color on the side undercuts. Or... Maybe I could even do tiny rainbows on the side undercuts! That could be fun...
off to do more thinking

I was going to suggest maybe a tiny rainbow on the side. I'm not sure if it's going to be too distracting, but I love a tiny cute peek of colour.

I do too, @vivienne. It's my favorite thing about having side undercuts, actually.
I think I'm going to have to do it unless someone has another idea that I haven't thought of yet that I fall madly in love with.
(My hair appointment is in another hour. I may or may not look here after I get my hair cut. Hahaha)
