Can I cover this patchy silvery/lavender color?Posted 3 years, 5 months ago
First of all, before I started my hair was bleached to a very pale peach (a slight stain left over from Manic Panic's Vampire Red) and I had originally planned to dye my hair a cool toned pink with lavender ends. I picked up Manic Panic Cotton Candy Pink and UltraViolet. I diluted the violet to make it pastel, and applied the pink directly. Unfortunately, the pink did absolutely nothing to my hair. It didn't even tint my nearly white roots. The purple however, despite heavily diluted, did show up on my tips. I ended up deciding to go over my whole head with the purple so it didn't look like a silly kool-aid dip dye. From my experience with the pink, I should have expected it to be as patchy as it was. I'm happy with the overall color, but I'm super disappointed with how manic panic has been taking to my hair, especially since I've had amazing results with their darker colors. With all that being said, I ordered Arctic Fox Virgin Pink and Girls Night. I want to know if these colors would cover my patchy-ness. Virgin pink is a little darker than I'd like, but if it means having an even color all over I'm willing to wait for it to fade pastel.
TL;DR: Can I cover this with Arctic Fox virgin pink and girls night

I have used virgin pink, it is on the lighter side, I think that you could dilute it and still get coverage, I know nothing about girls night, so do strand test and see what you get, but this looks very light/pastel now
