Airbrushing hair colorPosted 5 years, 3 months ago
Hi, I'm Tiffany and I am new to this group. I have a question and I hope someone cal help me. I wanted to know if there is a difference in the machines. I have an airbrush machine and a liquid temporary colors Can I use my machine or do I have to buy a special airbrush machine to do this?

I don't really know much about this but...
Is your airbrush for makeup? Are the liquid colours specially made for hair (or makeup, though on your hair these colours could still potentially stain) and airbrushing? If the answer is yes to all of these then go for it!

In my experience, you can use an airbrush for anything as long as it's the right consistency. If the dye is a little thick, you'd need to dilute it with a bit of water.
I will say that you'll probably need at least twice as much dye as you'd think since an airbrush is going to really spray it everywhere.

I'd be really interested to see how it turns out. Can you keep us updated?
