Hello :) I began in January using bleach in my hair almost every month (Manic panic vol 40),in July I stopped bleach because my virgin hair was getting so much damage and was dry and ugly.
So I decided to put it pink, with Directions Cerise pink. When Cerise pink was fading away I bought pink carnation but its too light and fade away so soon.
Like I have dark brown (almost black) roots and I dont want to use bleach for a time I was thinking about make my hair in a strong color that combine good with black and that dont fade away too soon.
I was thinking in Directions Plum,Violet,Neon blue or midnight blue or anything similar.I want anything strong and dark but not like black xD My hair is actually between cotton candy pink and a bit orange.
I'm bit newbie in it so I would be thankful with any comments or suggestion.

Is that photo your current hair? Diluted Neon Blue Iover that would probably go purple. If you wanted to go dark blue, you should try a turquoise instead.
In my experience, most colours match will with black roots, so it's just what your preference is. You could also do a mix of purple and blue.

Midnight Blue is probably the most strongly pigmented of those. You could also use Plum, but bear in mind it will fade to a turquoise shade that will be extremely difficult to remove. If you wanted to stay pinkish, Rose Red or cerise will give better coverage than Carnation pink.
I did then what I knew then, & when I knew better, I did better.
